Jose Candelaria is a vocalist, actor and songwriter based in New York City. Born in the Dominican Republic, he developed a love for the Arts at a young age.

Jose broke through with a performance on American Idol later becoming the lead singer for NYC Salsa-Rock Band “Descarrilao”. They released their debut album in 2018, available on iTunes, and have regular performances in NYC and nationwide. Jose also performs solo material with recent shows in Mexico and the UK.

Jose is an advocate for LGBT rights and is passionate about bringing Latin Music to new audiences worldwide!
