Performance as Life (is Love)

Dreams Fulfilled

I did not consciously choose and train to become a performer for money, fame or validation. It has always been out of love.

As early as I can remember, being in front of a camera, an audience or on a stage is where I felt comfortable and authentic.

It is real.
I can’t explain it.
I don’t know why.

My entire childhood I hoped for a chance to perform someplace, somewhere.

Now, each time I’m on a stage; No matter the venue, The Number of people, In front of iPhones or Movie cameras…

That someone would want to watch me, hear me or take my picture is a privilege.
A privilege that I never take for granted.

As a teenager when I first started getting paid to sing it felt unreal. A blessing!
Since then I’ve quit jobs that pay very well.
I’ve also spent money and dedicated 100% of my life to create projects that fed my soul. It might seem crazy to some. But it makes perfect sense to me. It’s love.

It’s what I was meant to do.
It’s what I was born to do.
It’s what I do best.

And when it’s all over, I’ll look back with tears of gratitude and joy for Every Single Human Being who has crossed my path and allowed me the chance to fulfill a dream.
